Summary
- All data saved by QuickBox is user-generated.

Local data storage
By default, QuickBox stores your content locally on your device or browser. This includes notes, tasks, selected text, and screenshots that you explicitly choose to save.
No content is transmitted externally unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
No automatic page reading
QuickBox does not automatically read web pages, scrape content, or monitor browsing activity. The extension reacts only to direct actions initiated by the user.
User-initiated captures
Screenshots and text selections are captured only after explicit user actions such as selecting text and clicking a save button or confirming a screenshot capture.
Login and Premium
Creating an account and logging in is optional. Login is used solely for account management and Premium feature licensing.
Cloud sync (optional)
When enabled, cloud sync uses Supabase as a backend.
Access to synced data is protected using Row Level Security (RLS),
ensuring users can only access their own data.
Payments
All payments are processed externally by Stripe. QuickBox does not handle, store, or process payment card information.
